GREENWOOD COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 9a.m. Friday in Greenwood County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 International concrete truck driven by Curk Bradley Creed, 64, Eureka, was southbound on Kansas 99 two miles north of Severy. The truck traveled off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected back onto the highway and tipped the truck onto its side in the ditch.
Creed was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Forensics Medical in Wichita. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
