
SEDGWICK COUNTY—A man jailed for a deadly shooting on a City of Wichita bus made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
Travis L. Finney, 34, was charged with first degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and probation violation, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.

Just after 3:30 p.m. October 16, police responded to a report of a shooting at South Meridian and West Burton. When officers arrived, they found a 54-year-old Reginald Griffith suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Sedgwick County EMS pronounced him deceased on scene.
Investigators determined that both Finney and Griffith were passengers on the bus and knew each other.
Finney remains jailed on bonds of $2,575,000.00, according to online jail records.
