After more than a year being closed, the K-147 bridge at Cedar Bluff opened to traffic Tuesday.
The bridge and 1.8 miles of highway were closed in June 2019 for safety reasons. Rust in the bridge deck was not allowing the bridge to move freely.
Construction on the bridge began in February.
The Kansas Department of Transportation posted on its Facebook page Tuesday the bridge was complete and was back open.
