BUTLER COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting in Butler County that sent one person to the hospital and have a suspect in custody.
Just before 11a.m. Tuesday, all of Rose Hill Schools were locked down due to a reported shooting south of town, according to a social media report from USD 394.
Students were not allowed outside and the school day continued as usual inside the building. Just before noon, the school district reported a suspect was in custody.
The school removed the precautionary lockdown that had been put in place for student safety. The sheriff's office is expected to release additional details as they become available.
