Sheriff: Suspect jailed for selling fentanyl in Kansas

OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged drug sales.

During a scheduled saturation patrol on April 11, a traffic stop was conducted on a 2011 Toyota passenger car for a traffic violation  Interstate 35, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the traffic stop, deputies found 2000 fentanyl pills.

Julio A. Casanovavega, 30, of Springdale, AR was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Distribution of fentanyl, Possession of drug paraphernalia, No drug tax stamp, Driving while license suspended or revoked and a Registration violation.
