Salina Police still searching for suspect(s) who allegedly stole over $6,000 of tools

The Salina Police Department has sent out a Crimestoppers release to the public, as they are seeking tips regarding an unknown suspect(s) who allegedly stole more than $6,000 worth of tools from a work trailer.

According to SPD, between 2 p.m. on Friday, July 4, and 7 a.m. on Monday, July 7, a construction trailer was allegedly burglarized. An employee of Schwerdtfager Masonry reported that a trailer belonging to their business had several items removed in the 3800 block of S. 9th.

Reportedly, an unknown suspect(s) 'cut a lock to the trailer and stole several tools.' The tools that were allegedly stolen were:

Two Stihl Concrete Saws, a Honda Generator, a Hilti Concrete Nailer, a Milwaukee Hammer Drill and a DeWalt 20-gallon air compressor. The total loss was valued at $ 6,500.
