SALINE COUNTY—Police continue their investigation into the death of a baby in Salina.
On Tuesday, Salina Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler reported an autopsy indicated the need for additional investigation into the death of the 7-week-old boy who died July 28. Police initially indicated they were waiting for the results of the autopsy and forensic report on the death.
Salina Police are working with other law enforcement agencies on the case and will utilize an expert from Wichita to help determine how the child died. Police have not reported an arrest in the case but have identified all parties involved as part of the investigation.
