KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a bank robbery and asking the public for help to identify a suspect.
Just after 4p.m. Thursday, a suspect robbed the UMB at 8442 Wornall in Kansas City, according to a statement from the FBI.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned male, approx. 50-years-old, 6-foot-2 or 6-foot-3, slender to medium build/approximately 230 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black covid style mask, blue baseball cap, rust colored plaid button down and jeans. He was also wearing a black wig.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of currency on foot in an east bound direction on 85th street.
