SEDGWICK COUNTY —One person was hospitalized in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Monday in Sedgwick County.

The Kansas. Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Fiesta driven by Makenzie Leigh Kackley, 26, Haysville, was southbound on the Kansas Turnpike just east of Kellogg. 

The vehicle left the road, struck a guardrail, traveled to the left and struck the center median wall twice.

EMA transported Kackley to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.  She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
