SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities continue investigating another fatal shooting in Wichita.
Just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, police officers were dispatched to call for EMS in the 8400 block of E. Harry in Wichita, according to Officer Kris Gupilan.
First responders located 41-year-old Michael Shelton on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. EMS and FIRE were on the scene and pronounced him deceased.
On Friday, detectives and officers continued actively investigating this case and following up on all leads. However, they have little information and are asking the public for help with information on this shooting.
