SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an armed robbery and asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect identified as 23-year-old&nbsp; Elijah C. Radcliff, 23 of Topeka.

Just before 7:30a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the Casey’s 600 SE Rice Road in Topeka after receiving reports of an armed robbery that had just occurred, according to police spokesperson Gretchen Spiker.

Witnesses stated that Radcliff entered the store, displayed a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of cigarettes. The suspect fled prior to officer’s arrival.
