RENO COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect in connection with an alleged rape in Reno County.
Just after 11:30p.m. Monday sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence on the Obee Housing addition east of Hutchinson for a report of Sexual Assault, according to a media release.
With the information given to dispatch, deputies were able to make contact with a suspect identified as 29-year-old Jarrod LaForce whose vehicle had broken down in the area of G Avenue and Obee Road.
Upon further investigation LaForce was arrested on requested charges of DUI, Rape, Aggravated Sodomy and Aggravated Domestic Battery. He remains jailed on a bond of $105,250.
