ATCHINSON—Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged violent crime that sent a victim to the hospital.
Just after 9:30a.m. August 16, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 1000 block Kansas Avenue in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
A 59-year-old woman reported being pushed down a stairway by 37-year-old Bryan Harris causing injuries. EMS transported the victim to Amberwell Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Police arrested Harris for aggravated battery and domestic battery. He remains in custody, according to online jail records.
