POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY —A Wamego man died in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Sunday in Pottawatomie County.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's office reported a truck driven by 34-year-old Joshua Higdon of Wamego was eastbound on Military Trail near Bluebird Road at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of the truck, it rolled and Higdon was ejected.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Deputies, EMS, the Wamego Police Department and the Louisville Fire Department responded to the scene. EMS pronounced Higdon dead at the scene, according to a the sheriff's department.
