HARVEY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 10p.m. Saturday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Lexus driven by Daniel T. Cosgrove, 61, Wichita was southbound on Interstate 35 twelve miles north of Wichita in the right lane.
A pedestrian identified as Kalub J. Rowson, 20, Minneapolis, ran across the interstate in front of and struck the right front corner of the vehicle.
Rowson was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Sedgwick County Forensics Center.
Cosgrove and two occupants in the Lexus were properly restrained and not injured, according to the KHP.
