In addition to visiting other aerospace facilities in Wichita, Duffy was in Kansas to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) and cut the ribbon on the NIAR Hub for Advanced Manufacturing and Research building, according to Wichita State University. While not yet formally open, Duffy, Senator Jerry Moran and Congressman Ron Estes were able to get a sneak peak at this unique new facility.
