MITCHELL COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating the death of a toddler in rural Mitchell County.
Just before 9p.m. Thursday., the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to 2197 290 Road in rural Mitchell County for a missing 2-year-old boy, according to a media release.
Just after 1:30a.m. Friday, with the assistance of many first responders and volunteers, the boy was located unresponsive in a water filled creek located near the residence.
