SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement arrested a Kansas teen last weekend in for alleged DUI while traveling in the wrong direction on the highway. On their social media page, Kechi police shared a video of the encounter and wrote.
"The face you make when you are pulled over and DUI"

"I wished I wasn't making this post.... but here we are on another edition of "I'll make ya famous".......This weekend we had Brendyn Martin."
Officers were on Highway 254 at Rock Road tending to a traffic stop and subsequent arrest when they noticed Martin's car traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, approaching them. Martin corrected at the Rock and Highway 254 interchange and continued westbound in the proper lane.
Martin blew a .306 on the intoxilizer; 15 times the legal limit for someone under the age 21. Martin is 19. This would be nearly 4 times the legal limit for someone over 21.
"Facebook fam.... I cannot stress this enough... THERE IS NO REASON TO DRIVE INTOXICATED!!!! There are so many resources in APP form or friends and family!! If you are in the Kechi city limits.... a phone call will get you a safe ride home!! It is too simple!!! There are memorials all over Sedgwick County due to tragic decisions being made. This one was adverted due to our officers being in the right place at the right time."
"If you are going to celebrate, at the very least be responsible and get a ride.
Kechi and Facebook community.... WE LOVE YOU..... we will continue to do what is necessary to keep you safe."
