Sheriff: Kansas man struck by pickup on rural road

JACKSON COUNTY —A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Tuesday in Jackson County.

A westbound 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty truck struck the man from Hoyt in the 12000 block of 110th Road west of Q. Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

EMS transported him Stormont Vail in Topeka for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Jackson County EMS, Hoyt and Mayetta Fire Departments responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation, according to Morse.
