WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Detectives are currently investigating a fatal shooting in Wyandotte County.
On Wednesday evening, police were dispatched to a shooting in the 4900 block of Steele Road, according to a media release.
First responders discovered a man outside a home, the victim of apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene. Two adult victims were transported to an area hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, not caused by gunfire.
This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. This is the 13th homicide of the year in Kansas City, Kansas.
