SEDGWICK COUNTY—A Kansas woman who died in an accident Saturday at a small airport has been identified as Amanda Gallagher, 37, of Wichita, according to an online fundraiser for her family.

Just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, emergency crews were alerted to the report of an accident at Cook Airfield, 6841 S. 143rd Street in Derby, according to the Sedgwick County Sheriff's office.
Gallagher was taking photos when she backed into an active airplane propeller. EMS transported her to a local hospital in extremely critical condition and she died of her injuries.
