
SALINE COUNTY —Saline County Sheriff's Deputies and law enforcement in Wichita are searching for a woman facing felony drug charges in Salina after she walked away from a court-ordered assessment center and treatment facility in Wichita before entering.
According to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan, 42-year-old Amanda Vinardi was arrested in Wichita on Jan. 9 on a Saline County District Court warrant connected to a case investigated by the Salina Police Department. She was transported to Saline County Jail before being court-ordered to the Mirror Inc. in Wichita, Kansas.
Vinardi was facing multiple requested charges, including Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Aggravated endangering a child
Vinardi is now facing an additional requested charge of escape from custody. A warrant has been issued for her arrest, and Wichita Police Officers and Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office have been notified.
Jason Greever, vice president of treatment services at Mirror INC. said Mirror has not filed any adverse incident reports with the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services in the last 30 days.
