Grow Hays
A local job fair has been a topic for several months as several local employers are hiring. With COVID-19 concerns, Grow Hays, KansasWorkd Hays, Work Hays and Big Creek Crossing have been brainstorming for alternatives to the typical job fair event.
In our discussions, we came up with a county-wide event that allows employers to remain at their businesses and abide by their rules regarding how applications are accepted. The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6.
Employers interested in participating will send information to be compiled and promoted via websites, social media, news articles, emails, etc.. A "map" of all participating employers will be created and made available to job seekers. Job seekers can either apply online or go to the employer during the event to apply.
Interested employers need to send the following to [email protected] no later than Thursday:
• Logo
• Company name
• Company address
• Contact Person and contact info
• Website
• Available positions and job descriptions
• Link to online application or actual application
