Two Kan. women caught transporting meth, marijuana

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 4p.m. December 16, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Saturn S series passenger car for the registered owner’s driver’s license being allegedly suspended on U.S. Hwy 75 near 158th Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

Throughout the investigation of the traffic stop, a probable cause search was conducted and deputies located methamphetamine, marijuana, an open alcohol container, and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, Jessica Lee Indermuehle, 32, of Topeka, was arrested on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while a habitual violator.

The passenger, Amie Elizabeth Mcinroy, 38, of Topeka, was arrested on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container and interference with law enforcement.
