SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities continue to investigate another deadly shooting in Wichita.
Early Monday, Patrol East officers, detectives, and crime scene investigators were on scene of a fatal shooting that occurred near 2800 E. Douglas, according to police spokesperson Andrew Ford.
Officers heard gunshots in the area and located a vehicle with a 35-year-old male victim inside.
Investigators continue working to collect evidence and speak to witnesses. The shooting does not appear to be random. Police have not released the name of the victim or reported an arrest.
