WASHINGTON — Two employees of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority have been charged after authorities say they leaked a video of the American Airlines Flight 5342 crash with an Army Black Hawk helicopter to CNN, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority.
The employees made an "unauthorized copy" of the video and gave it to the media outlet.
Mohamed Lamine Mbengue, 21, was charged with computer trespass. He was booked into the Arlington County Adult Detention Center and later released on his own recognizance.
Jonathan Savoy, 45, Upper Marlboro, was also charged with computer trespass. He was released on a summons by a magistrate.
No one survived the Wednesday night collision. Crews are still searching for remains.
