RENO COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects after a violent incident in Hutchinson.

Just after 3p.m. Thursday police responded to the Porter Commons apartment complex 1417 Katie Drive in Hutchinson.

Police found a woman with facial injuries and apparent broken bones. There was evidence that her apartment door was forced open. Several people were inside when the door was kicked in.

There were several bullet holes on the exterior of several apartments and two more victims were in the area when gunshots were fired by a man later identified as 24-year-old Dakota Ney. 

Ney was arrested on requested charges that include two counts of aggravated assault, four counts of aggravated burglary, shooting into an occupied dwelling, felony criminal damage and misdemeanor criminal damage, along with felon in possession of a firearm.

Located elsewhere and also arrested was 21-year-old Aryanna Fernandez on a requested charge of aggravated battery and aggravated burglary.
