MANHATTAN– Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas who was arrested late Friday afternoon in connection to a domestic incident that occurred Thursday in Manhattan.

According to the Riley County Police Department, Desie Chatfield, 41, of Manhattan was arrested on requested charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery&nbsp; stemming from the incident involving a 42-year-old female victim. Chatfield is alleged to have prevented the victim from leaving a residence after an argument and stabbing her in the arm with a fork.

Chatfield is currently confined in the Riley County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
