WYANDOTTE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 9p.m. Friday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported 2022 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Jessica Diana Adams, 34, Blue Springs, Missouri, was westbound on Interstate 70 near Washington Avenue to Eastbound Interstate 70 at a high rate of speed.
The motorcycle struck and rode the bridge wall. The driver was ejected and struck the ground approximately 60 feet below Interstate 70.
Adams was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to First Call. She was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
