KANSAS CITY—One person died in an accident just after 3a.m. Sunday in Kansas City.
A vehicle driven by an unidentified woman was northbound on Broadway, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
As the vehicle through the green light on West 43rd, it traveled directly into a utility pole. EMS transported the driver to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Police have not released the name of the driver or additional details.
