SEWARD COUNTY —The Liberal Police Department is investigating the rumor of a death related to tainted Halloween candy in the city of Liberal.
There is no truth to the rumor, according to a statement from the Liberal Police Department.
"If the police department were to receive credible information of a threat to the community, the information would be immediately released to the public."
