SEDGWICK COUNTY— Law enforcement investigating a fatal drug overdose have made an arrest.
Just before 8a.m. on September 14, police responded to the report of a deceased 15-year-old juvenile in Wichita, according to a media release from police. The investigation determined the death to be the result of a drug overdose.
Since then, Wichita police overdose analyst have been working to pursue justice and ensure accountability for the people responsible for this senseless death.
Just after 5:30p.m. Wednesday, K-9 officers arrested a 24-year-old man identified according to booking records as Issac L. Hord, in connection with this case. Just before 8:30p.m. he was booked into the Sedgwick Count Jail, according to online jail records.
The case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for charging consideration.
