The special meeting notice of the Ellis County Commission which originally was published Nov. 22, 2020, failed to include the word "consider" to clarify there was more than one option available regarding the state face mask ordinanance.

The Ellis County Commission has called a <a href="https://www.ellisco.net/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Agenda/_11232020-374">special meeting</a> for 7 a.m. Monday to consider opting out of the <a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/adfe4d44-b718-438f-affc-9340829248fe">governor's new mandatory face mask order</a> which will go into effect Wednesday, Nov. 25.
