HARVEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are reporting a new Fentanyl trend in Kansas.

According to a social media report from the Harvey County Sheriff, "we most typically find Fentanyl in Dirty 30s in our area - usually round, pale blue counterfeit Oxycodone pills that contain Fentanyl. More recently, we've had two cases where we've discovered pink-tinted Fentanyl powder."

"Often, Fentanyl is consumed by someone using foil to smoke the pill or powder. When it is smoked, there's a black, burnt residue left on the foil. If someone is having a medical emergency, or to report a crime, call 911."

"If you have information that could assist in an investigation and would like to talk with us, please call us at the Sheriff's Office at 316-284-6960 and ask to speak to a drug investigator."
