
KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 7a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to a reported shooting at 4th and Holmes in Kansas City, Missouri, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
On arrival officers located a shooting victim unresponsive in the street. Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and took over aid. EMS transported the victim to the hospital where he was declared deceased.
.Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in the street at that location when he had an interaction with one or more suspects in a vehicle there. That interaction escalated to gunfire that struck the victim.
There are many apartment residences here close by so detectives are optimistic that someone heard or saw something. If anyone was in this area and heard or saw anything or has any information, and has not yet talked to police, they are asked to contact Homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously to the TIPS hotline.
