SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy have arrested three juvenile male suspects.
Just after 10p.m. Monday, police responded to a call in the 600 block of S. Laura in Wichita, according to Officer Kris Gupilan.
First responders located 14-year-old Malachi Sicka of Wichita nearby with a gunshot wound in the 1100 block of E. Orme. Despite the efforts of EMS and Fire personnel to administer life-saving measures, the boy was pronounced deceased.
On Thursday evening, police reported the arrest of the 17-year-old and a 15-year all from Wichita. They are being held on requested charges of First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, and Criminal Use of a Weapon
Friends have established an online fundraiser to assist the family.
