
KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire at a townhome in Kansas City.
Just before 1:30p.m. Thursday, Kansas City Fire Department companies were dispatched to a reported fire in the 7600 block of E 79th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Battalion Chief Riley Nolan.
On arrival, crews reported a 1-story townhome with heavy fire showing. An offensive fire attack was initiated with 2 hose lines advanced into the structure. Searches throughout were performed and reported all clear.
The fire was brought under controlat 1:41 p.m. Red Cross has been requested to assist with 1 adult. There were no injuries reported.
