
CLARK COUNTY— The wild fire in southwest Kansas is contained but not out, according to Clark County Attorney Clay Kuhns. Approximately 150,000 acres have burned and the fire continues along the state line in Clark County. Two injured firefighter were transported to Wichita for treatment, according to Kuhns.
Earlier Wednesday, evacuation orders for residents in Englewood and Ashland were lifted.
On Tuesday night, Kansas U.S. Senator Roger Marshall and his team traveled to Ashland to deliver water and thank first responders for their work protecting homes, ranches, and livestock.
