Police ask for help to locate Kansas felon who fled traffic stop

GEARY COUNTY—Law enforcement are asking the public for help to locate a suspect identified as 23-year-old James Tyshawn Carwell III who fled a traffic stop on Thursday, according to Junction City Police.

Carwell has multiple active arrest warrants. Carwell was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie and blue basketball shorts. He is 6-foot tall, weighs 195 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.

You can also message the Police Department Facebook page with any information you may have. Information leading to James' arrest will be eligible for a cash reward from Crime Stoppers.
