BARTON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating an alleged violent assault in Barton County.
Just before 11a.m. Dec. 5, police responded to the hospital in Great Bend, in reference to an alleged domestic disturbance.
An investigation determined 68-year-old Judy Goodman allegedly battered the other party in the dispute using a mop handle.
Goodman was placed under arrest for aggravated battery. Goodman was transported to the Barton County Jail where she was booked and held on a $75,000 bond on a requested charge of aggravated battery.
