KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating another homicide in Kansas City have identified the victim as 20-year-old  Za’marion V. Taylor, according to KCPD Sergeant Jake Becchina.

Just before 6p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to a shooting at a convenience store in the 1300 block of Bannister Road in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Becchina.

On arrival officers were directed to a shooting victim, later identified as Taylor, unresponsive on the ground next to the business. Officers rendered aid and called for EMS who responded and declared him deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives responded to  the scene and canvassed for any witnesses.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Taylor had an interaction with an unknown suspect in the parking lot of the business that escalated to gunfire which struck him. Police have not reported an arrest or suspect details.
