ELLSWORTH COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 7p.m. Thursday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chrysler 200 driven by Nathaniel B. Dold, 18, Sterling, was eastbound on Kansas 156 approximately three mile northeast of Ellsworth. The car crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2021 Peterbilt semi driven by Noel J. Schilling, 58, Morrill.
Dold was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported Parsons Funeral Home. EMS transported Schilling to the Ellsworth County Hospital. Dold was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
