In a message to parents Sunday evening, Hays High School announced it would postpone Homecoming activities scheduled for the week.
Abilene already had canceled the scheduled Friday night football game due to COVID-19 concerns in its school district.

We are postponing Homecoming.
HC will now begin Friday, Oct 2, with "Wild West Festival". Time will be 8:00-10:30 OR 10:00-12:00. Stay tuned.
Class games 7:00 pm Thurs., Oct 8, followed by bonfire.
Candidate/honoree recognition at Lewis Field, 6:30 p.m., prior to the Oct 9 Football game versus Dodge.
King/Queen will be crowned at halftime.
