SALINA —Drivers across Kansas continue to ignore the posted speed limit.

Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Ben Gardner asked on his social media account, "How do you rack up a total fine of $453 in a matter of seconds?"

"By driving 80 mph in a 40 mph zone on South Ohio Street within the city limits of Salina. Speeds like this put everyone on the road—including the driver—at serious risk."
