SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a deadly explosion and fire in Wichita.
Just before noon Thursday, 911 received a call of an explosion at an apartment complex in the 8400 block of E Harry, according to Police Lt. Aaron Moses.
First responders from Wichita Police and the Wichita Fire Department located a garage on fire and a man who was deceased.
Wichita Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, officials with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and other partners as well as mental health professionals were on scene.
