JERUSALEM—Attempted terrorist attacks continue in the Red Sea.

At 10 a.m. Sunday, U.S. forces successfully destroyed a drone over the Red Sea, launched from an Iranian-backed Houthi controlled area of Yemen, according to the U.S. Central Command.

On Saturday, the terrorists launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles ( toward the Red Sea.  On Thursday, the Command reported Iranian-backed Houthis launched two more anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBM) into the Red Sea.    There were no injuries or damage reported in either instance to U.S., coalition, or commercial ships.

"This continued malign and reckless behavior by the Iranian backed Houthis threatens regional stability and endangers the lives of mariners across the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden,"

Meanwhile, Southern Gaza has been largely cut off from aid since Israel launched what it called a limited incursion into Rafah on May 6. Since then over 1 million Palestinians, many already displaced, have fled the city.

Northern Gaza receives aid through two land routes that Israel opened during global outrage after Israeli strikes killed seven aid workers in April.

A few dozen trucks enter Gaza daily through a U.S.-built floating pier, far below the 150 trucks a day that officials hoped for. Aid groups say 600 trucks a day are needed.
