Kan. man, 2 juveniles caught with guns, marijuana

BUTLER COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating three suspect on drug allegations after a traffic stop in Butler County.

On Friday, Butler County Sheriff's Department Sergeant Tharp initiated a traffic stop due to the vehicle possessing a stolen license plate, according to a social media report from the sheriff's office. A short pursuit ended at N Andover Road and E Douglass Avenue.

A vehicle search was conducted due to the oder of Marijuana. The search resulted in deputies finding three handguns, a half-pound of marijuana and a dozen THC vapes. Braden Gatschet and two juvenile occupants are facing fire arm and drug related charges.
