RUSSELL COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Tuesday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Mercury Sable driven by Cynthia L. Pitcock, 73, Russell, was eastbound on Old Highway 40 west of Russell.
The car crossed the center line and into the westbound lane and struck a 2017 Chevy Traverse driven by Raymer, Morgan M. Raymer, 29, Russell, head-on.
EMS transported Pitcock and Raymer to Russell Regional Medical Center. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
