COWLEY COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 10p.m. Saturday in Cowley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Traverse driven by Kaitlyn Michelle Keeling, 26, Belle Plaine, was westbound in the 11000 block of 82nd Road.
The vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 1982 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Chase Edward Augur, 18, Augusta.
Augur was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Miles Funeral Home.
Keeling was not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident. Augur was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
