ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas man on child sex crime allegations.

On Sept. 26, Olathe Police arrested 69-year-old Carlos A. Rondon of Olathe on an Atchison County District Court warrant charging him with three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.

The charges are the result of an Atchison Police Department investigation that began on July 30, involving three victims that were under the age of 14 at the time of the crimes.

The crimes against these victims occurred between 2012 and 2020 in Atchison. Rondon was taken to the Johnson County Kansas Jail with a bond set at one million dollars.
